God Zone Community Youth

Every Friday evening at 7:00 we are meeting as a youth group for games, Praise and Worship music, time to study the Bible and prayer.

We love and appreciate the youth in our communities. Our Pastor and parents coordinate youth ministries and fun activities such as gym nights, movie nights at `The Living Room` or in homes, outdoor games, skiing, concerts and more with a devotional time to learn more about God. Our main goal is to share God's love with youth, encourage them to study the Bible, and grow in their faith. The youth currently meet a couple of times every week. See below for full schedule.

Paintballing Silver Creek!!

Hey everyone, we are going paintballing at Silver Creek on Thursday July 28th. There are 2 waiver forms that you need to fill out to come paintballing click here for the first one and click here for the second one.

Cost is: $10 for Rentals, $10 for the field fee, and then you can choose how much you spend on paintballs ex. $10 for 100, $30 for 500, etc. So essentially you could come and play paintball for $30. Make sure and contact Clint if you are coming so that we can arrange rides. You need to contact Clint before Thursday.

Friday July 22nd- we will be having youth group. We may be going to a youth rally in Drayton Valley. The cost is $10 a person and either bring your own supper or we may stop at a fast food place. Tentatively we will be leaving at 4:30

Y.C. Edmonton!!!! hey everyone it is time to get ready for Y.C. again this year. You will need to get your money and waivers in to me right away. It is going to cost $140 this year and you can print off a waiver from by clicking here. To print of a copy of the information letter for YC please click here.

On Friday April 15th we will be going out to Sedgewick for some bowling and some games at Gerbrandt's house. Either you can meet us there around 7:15 or you can meet at the Church at 7:00 to arrange rides. We will be coming back at 10:00. 

Youth group is Friday January 7th. 7:00 p.m. meet at the Church

Youth group Friday January 14th. 7:00 p.m. meet at the Church at 7:00, or head over to the school gym after that. We will be at the gym all night.

January 19th. Bible Study at Pastor Clint's house. 8:00 p.m.

January 21: Skiing at Alliance. Meet at the Church at 5:30 we will be back around 10:30. Cost is about $15 for skiing and another $15 if you need to rent ski's or snowboards. eat before you come. Click here for a waiver.

January 30th: We will be going to Winterfest in Edmonton to a bunch of Concerts there. Price per person is $20 (but like always, if the cost is an issue, just talk to me and we will make sure that you can still come.)
We will be leaving from the Church at 3:00 p.m. stopping for a bite to eat (fast food, either bring a bag lunch or money to buy some food) there are a number of bands playing that night (LEELAND, Bluetree, 33 Miles, Pocket Full of Rocks, Building 429, Geoff Moore, Junkyard Poets, Linnea Salte and Jon Bauer) so I can't give an estimated time on when we will return.
I need to know who is all going right away so that we can buy our tickets ahead of time. I need to have money by January 23rd (1 week before the concert) click here for a waiver.

October 23: Going to Edmonton for a Rough Rider vs Eskimo football game.

October 29: Just show up at the Church at 7:00 p.m.

November 5: don't show up for youth it is moved to Saturday the 6th. we are going to a youth rally at Prairie Bible College in Three Hills. Meet at the Church at 2:00 p.m. just bring along some money for supper.

November 12: Regular youth night, meet at the Church at 7:00 p.m.

November 19: Regular youth night, meet at the Church at 7:00 p.m.

November 26: guys/girls seperate youth night. Girls meet at Clint and Pam's place, Guys are heading out to Sorensons, you can meet at Clint's place for a ride. 7:00 p.m. This is going to be an all night event for both the girls and the guys.

Christmas Party!!! Saturday December 18th. Be at the Church at 7:00 p.m. for a meal and bring along a $5-$10 dollar gift for a gift exchange (make sure that either a guy or girl could be happy with the gift)

Youth Paintball!!

Any youth in the area that want to go paintballing, we are going to take the bus to Sniper Paintball on Saturday September 25th. Leaving the Church at 11:00 and coming back around 8:00. Cost is going to be $45 if you don't have your own gun, etc. A meal is also provided by the Church. Click here to download a waiver form.

Jo-Jo's corn maze trip

On Friday September 10th we will be going out to Jo-Jo's corn maze near camrose. Bring along $10 for costs, if you can't afford it, come along anyway and we will cover you. We will be leaving from the Church at 7:00 and getting back between 10:30 and 11:00. After the Corn maze we will stop in at the Tim Hortons in Camrose for a snack (bring your own money.) If you have a flashlight also bring that along because the maze should be getting pretty dark by the time we do it. We will also be playing mini-golf there. Click here for a waiver form.

Rock The River

We are going to the Rock the River Concert in Edmonton at Telus Field On Saturday August 28. We will be leaving from the Church at noon and getting back around midnight. We will be taking the Church bus. It costs $10 a person to go.

You need to eat before coming and either bring along a bag lunch to eat during the concert for supper (we will have to go back to the bus, no food is allowed in Telus Field.) The actual day of concerts goes from 2:30-9:30. Click here for a waiver.

Paintball At Silver Creek

We are going August 16 at 1:00 p.m. If you want to come you need to fill out the waiver form for both the youth group AND the paintball course AND must tell Clint before12:00 On Tuesday August 16 so that he can arrange for proper transportation. Just a spur of the moment trip for whoever can make it. 

Article One Concert

The youth (and whoever else wants to go) are going to an "Article One" concert in Spruce Grove. We will be leaving the Church at 5:00 sharp! and getting back around 1:00ish.
Cost is $15 a person (tickets and transportation price) and bring along a little money for a fast food supper stop.
Please let Clint know ahead of time if you are coming so that he can arrange adequate transportation. Click here for a waiver form.
